We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to support GNDR’s project Views from the Frontline (VFL) project, based in Delhi, India. The VFL project is implemented in 48 countries through implementing partners, and seeks to capture local community perspectives on disaster risk and resilience, and monitor the extent to which local actors are included in resilience planning processes. The project then seeks to use these voices to influence local, national and international policy makers to achieve an inclusive “people-centred” approach to resilience-building, as promoted within the SFDRR and associated frameworks. The role will be involved in supporting the implementation and coordination of the VFL project; supporting project partners and NCOs; supporting donor reporting; learning; and advocacy and external relations.
Candidates must have a background in implementing development and resilience projects, including a good knowledge of people-centred participatory development tools and approaches. In addition, experience of being involved in advocacy, lobbying and campaigns is required to support the influencing work of VFL. Candidates will be educated to degree level. All candidates must be fluent in English.

GNDR offers a competitive salary of 702,130 Indian Rupee per annum plus pension. Please note expat benefits are not offered.
