On 10 and 11 May, our partner RET International implemented the first sub-regional workshop in Panama, gathering 25 representatives from 25 networks across Central America and the Caribbean.
GNDR in partnership with RET international held on 23 and 24 April, a regional workshop attended by 35 Civil Society Organisations in Panama City to identify the success factors of institutionalisation of a sustainable CBDRM.

From 11th to 13th December 2017, members from West Africa attended GNDR's regional workshop in Bamako, Mali for an update on the organisation ongoing activities and discuss the network’s impact both at global and regional level.

The workshop was an opportunity to introduce GNDR's new regional governance structure and to promote the benefits of sharing knowledge and best practices at region level. Participants are coming from all over the LAC region. Organised by GNDR's Regional Development Coordinator in LAC, Mave Bastias, the subregional workshop aimed at identifying appropriate actions for our members to work together in order to enhance their disaster management and advocacy capacity.
