Overview
Our panel will discuss how to build youth resilience in partnership with religious communities in the face of Covid-19, using a case study from Nairobi-based civil society organisation, ADRA.
Youth are an important part and priority of our development agenda today. The active engagement of youth in sustainable development efforts is central to achieving sustainable, inclusive and stable societies by the target date, and for averting the worst threats and challenges including the impact of climate change, unemployment, poverty, gender inequality, conflict, and migration.
The Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction emphasises the role of youth and other stakeholders in making DRR processes successful.
