The Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction 2025, being held in Geneva, Switzerland, marks a crucial moment – it is the first Global Platform since the Sendai Framework Mid-Term Review and the penultimate before the Framework’s conclusion in 2030.
With time running out to meet the Sendai Framework goals, GNDR is amplifying the priorities and policy messages co-developed with their global membership to demand stronger, more accountable commitments from decision-makers.
GNDR and our members will engage in official sessions, side events, and stakeholder consultations throughout GPDRR 2025, promoting our Call to Action and calling on governments, UNDRR, and all stakeholders to embed them in the official outcomes of the platform.
